We had a great weekend! On Saturday we went to a Sounder's game! This will have been our second one. They were playing against England....who is really good...so, we lost. But that is OK. We still had a great time. I especially love the garlic fries! mmmmmm. Lana was really good the whole time. She just sat there and looked around.
There were so many people there. The total attendance ended up being something like 65,000. Pretty amazing for a soccer game in the U.S.
After the game we had to rush to my first voice lesson. For those of you who don't know....I really like to sing. I took lessons in High School but kind of lost it after that. Comparatively I am now really bad. It took me a while to find a teacher I was really excited about and was willing to do a lesson every other week. She has had 20 years experience and is very good.
The lesson went great. She definitely reminded me how to get back into my old good habits. My biggest problem right now is my jaw. So, my goal is to come in next lesson having greatly improved my jaw problem.
After the voice lesson we had an appointment with this high school girl who was selling Cutco knives. She made it sound so innocent and like she was just trying to get points for this scholarship. But she was really trying hard to sell those knives. We were tough. No crazy expensive knives for us.
Sunday was Tucker's 1st birthday! Yay for Tucker! He is so dang cute! He smiles easier than any other baby I know.
This part was great. One of the first things he did with his cake is dive in face first. He definitly performed well for us. He demolished that cake excelently. He did even better than Lana.
