complaints....

So, I have been getting complaints about my lack of posting.... I will now make up for not writing one the last post. Here is what has been going on in our lives...

Daniel got a new job with a pharmaceutical company. He will be a pharmaceutical rep. Basically, he goes to doctor's offices and keeps them updated on their products and tries to get them to prescribe their drug. It is a great job; one Daniel didn't think he could get right now. So, we have been blessed. He spends most of his time right now doing at home training/study. He studies all day and then takes tests over what he just studied. I think he will do this for another couple of weeks. It is nice to have him home...but hard for me not to ask him to do stuff. I try to pretend like he's not there...so I can resist the urge to bother him.

I have just been pluggin' away. Doing apartment stuff, taking care of Lana, and whatever else I have to do. I took Lana to get her pictures taken at Yeun Lui today. They are sooooo cute. Dan thinks it's dumb that we took her somewhere to get pics taken because I take so many, but i don't have the right equipment to do as good of a job. I just wanted 1 year pics sooo bad. She was so funny in the session. When I set her down where they would want me to it was all I could to to pry her off and keep her from climbing back up me. The rest of the time she was really solomn but they still are really cute. I will post those after I get them.

I have almost finished planting my flowerbed. It is going to look so pretty! I did a ton of Impatients, some Greaniums and a couple of other filler flowers. It doesn't look like much now but, it is going to be so pretty when my impatients get big and moundy. (is that a word?) I think it is going to look a little uneven. The 2 sides are going to be so different because one side gets a decent amount of sun and the other is ALWAYS in shade. So, I had to plant totally different flowers on either side. Oh well, once the imaptients get big it will look pretty anyway.

Lana now says 3 words. 1)Cheese (But only if you actually have cheese in your hand) 2)Kitty (any animal has been dubbed kitty) 3)Shoes (she says this when only I put her shoes on) She also says mamama and dadada alot but, I'm not sure she actually knows what the word means.

Lana's first birthday is Saturday. We are going to have a morning party. It will start at 10. We will have brunch and cake and icecream. I haven't decided on all the details yet but I will be sure to let you know!
