Dan is playing Grand Turismo now so I thought this would be a good time to write.

Friday night we went on a double date with another couple (Samantha and Jim) They moved into our ward forever ago but for some reason we haven't ever actually gotten together. We were supposed to meet at 5:30 at Cactus on Alki beach but Dan and I got behind schedule and we had to move it to 5:45...then they got stuck in traffic. All in all, we didn't get to our table till about 7. Ha-Ha it was definitely an interesting meal. Lana was pretty cranky so, Dan and I took turns trying to hush her. Jim even took her outside for a few minutes. They are about to have a baby. It was good training for them :)

My sister in law Cami went into labor Sat. morning. He was 3 weeks early but is doing well. They are going to keep him there for a few day. He is dang cute! Laura and Aric had to take care of Alex (Cami and Travis's 2 year old) Laura and Aric have 1 1/2 year old and a brand new born. So, we went down to help with everything. Alex said my name for the first time (that I have personally heard) He always says, "Daniel" I went in to get him out of his crib after his nap and he said, "Brianne?" It was so cute.

I ruined Dan's anniversary surprise for me. For my birthday he got me the first 3 seasons of Smallville and he had secretly gotten the last three too but was planning on giving them to me for our anniversary. So, I was at Target the other day and Smallville 70% off!! So, I bought them. When I got to the car I called Dan to tell him the exciting news...(can you tell I get excited easily?) and he told me I had to take them back because he already bought them. Sad. I ruined his surprise.

Last night I asked Dan if he would get up with Lana during the night. He agreed. She has been getting up every night at 3:00 for the past 3 weeks. Guess what!? She slept through the night. The one time I wouldn't have to get up!! ahh
