Lana and I had a photo shoot yesterday. Dan says he thinks she looks like a pretty boy with a hairpiece. I think she looks cute! ......Don't listen to Dad, Lana!

I can't wait till I have real lighting. These are OK but I am just using the natural light from the window. If I had lighting they would be much sharper. Maybe when we have a house I can have lighting.

I am so excited to carve pumpkins! It is what we are going to do for our first Family Home Evening next Monday! I know you are suppose to have FHE even before you have kids but we really haven't. Every few Mondays we would be somewhere like the grocery store and one of us would realize it was Monday. So, we would call going to the grocery store as Family Home Evening. I don't think Heavenly Father counted it. :)
Well, I watched the last presidential debate last night. I have decided that they are pointless. Half the time they don't even remotely answer the question. They both have such unrealistic plans. They can't do alot of what they are saying! Now, Obama said something interesting. He said, in order to pay for all these government programs he wants to create he would get rid of a useless program to make up the difference. That SOUNDS good. But, really? Yeah right. Also Obama drives me nuts when he says he is going to go through each bill line to line and get rid of pork barrel spending. THE PRESIDENT DOESN'T HAVE THE POWER OF LINE ITEM VETO! He says it constantly! Anyway, McCain had a dumbfounded moment of the night when he was talking to small business owners about the fine that would be put in place if they didn't go with the Obama's government based health care plan. he asked Obama how much that fine would be. Obamba said "zero" for small business. It totally denied what McCain just attacking him about. McCain looked shocked, like he had never heard this before.

Bottom line, I wish we could take politics out of the process.

Breen, that scared me a little...it sounds like you are going for Obama now. I know better, though!
the pics of Lana are so good! Even without good lighting they look great.

Ugh. Both candidates are frustrating me. Mitt Romney would be the perfect candidate to deal with this economic crisis. But we have to thank all the "open minded" people out there that were so quick to be closed minded about supporting a qualified candidate that just so happens to be LDS.
So, yes, we really just have to pick between the lesser of the two evils.
They way both parties attack each other lessens any respect I may have had for either of them.
I'm am quite conservative so that's how I'm going to lean.
Dang, I just wrote a novel.
