So, I have been a slacker on my blog in the past week. But, it has been a good one.
On Friday we headed straight down to
On Saturday we went with Laura and Aric to a pumpkin patch. It was so fun! They have animals for the kids to pet, slides, tractor rides, and of course pumpkin patches. We were in charge of Alex and let me tell you…that was a job. He gets really excited about tractors and trucks so, he could hardly contain his excitement or his little legs from running everywhere there was a tractor. Dan definitely got a workout.
It is so fun to take Lana to all these first holiday activities!! (mostly to take pictures of her with holiday things :) ) We still have yet to carve our pumpkins!! We definitely need to do that tomorrow.
This was pretty much the best moment of my life ;) . Ha-Ha I got to be pulled!!!
Mia is so dang cute!! She has got this little mischievous personality. I have such cute little nieces and nephews!
You can't really tell here, but Alex was sooooooo excited to ride on this.
Lana looks like a little thug.
Alex was also really excited to get on this super slide. It was really tall. When we got to the top he thought it was pretty scary. poor little guy. I had fun!
This is Lana's new favorite activity.
I have decided recently to be a good wife and actually cook. Dan doesn't really want me to because he thinks it is more expensive than to just hunt around in our kitchen every night for whatever. But we also aren't eating very healthily that way. I have made some tasty dishes so far. This is my fav. It is soooooooo good!
MAPLE SALMON
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pound salmon
TIP: cook with tinfoil under and around it (nor covering it) to keep the maple mixture close to the salmon then, put the remaining mixture in a dish to dip your salmon.
I have some GREAT news. drumroll please!...............Lana Marie Heiner took a bottle!!!! Its a miracle!!! We have tried for a while now. Sometimes for days. We have tried for hours at a time before. So, tonight we tried having me leave the apartment entirely. Her Doctor told me that he doesn't think it is very likely a baby as old as Lana will take a bottle while the mother is in the house. So, I left dan with the beast when she was hungry and went to the Mall. Dan said when I left he said a prayer and then gave it his best. Within 5 MINIUTES she was suckin' away! This means I can leave her for longer than 3 hours at a time!
