Well, I need to do a recap of Jenny and Justin's trip to Seattle. It was so much fun!

They got here at abou 5:00! I put Lana in my favorite outfit. We immediately went to Costco becuase I hadn't had time before they got here. Great first outing :) haha. After that we went to Pagliacci's. The best Pizza in Seattle. Just thinking about the pizza makes my mouth water. We played Scattagories while we waited for the pizza. The first round went to pot because Justin (who had never played before) thought that you just came up with a bunch of different things that started with the letter rolled from the first thing on the list. i.e.-boys names.. James jesus, josh, ect... So, here he is telling us that there was way too much time alloted for each round...When the rest of us a frantically trying to finish. And Dan did the wrong list. So we really didn't get to play before our pizza came.

We went to Pikes Place Market...a given for a first time visitor to Seattle. For those of you who don't know; Pikes Place is basically a gathering of tons of random kiosks in a market style. It also includes alot of fruit and veggie stands/ the Famous Seattle fish market. Its a really fun atmosphere. This was quite the adventure for me. It was my first outing with Lana without Dan. So that means I had to carry her in the Bjorn which kills my shoulders.
When she started to get fussy because she was hungry I told Jenny and Justin to just keep looking around while I went to feed her. I had a bottle already pumped becuase there is no such thing as a private or comfortable area in Pikes Place to nurse. I arrived at the bathroom to heat up her bottle just to discover that the sinks are the ones you push the handle and it gradually comes up till the water turns off on its own. GREAT! I had to heat up a bottle in a crowded bathroom with a screaming baby and on top of it I had to push the sink handle every 3 seconds. Needless to say, this was one of those moments I wasn't enjoying at the time but would love to have recorded to watch later. Then I went out of the bathroom to find a place to feed her. There were no chairs or benches anywhere so I just sat down in the middle of everything and fed her. I got alot of funny looks.
At some point while we were there I realized I didn't have my phone. AHHH. I have lost 3 phones in the last year. We rushed to where we thought it was and luckily it was there. whew! Dan would have killed me. He told me if I lost another phone we were just not going to have one.
We then met Dan at Ivars. As I was walking away with my food one of the workers chased me down with an extra plate of food and asked if I wanted it because he made an extra one. I feel bad cause I think I was rude. He startled me so much that I think I came off as very confused. We fed the Seagulls. They are so brave! They will eat right out of your hand.
Then we went to the Columbia center and the Seattle Library.

We went on the Underground tour. Seattle has a really cool history. It (as we know it today) is built on top of itself. The original level of Seattle is underground. They raised the city because it flooded too much. As you are walking around in the city you will see random patterns of glass in the sidewalk. Those are skylights to the underground. cool hu?
These are the skylights I was talking about!!
Walking around to a different part of the tour
Then we went to Tup Tim Thai. Our favorite thai place in Seattle. oh so good! haha Can you tell I really like food? I think I scared our waiter to death. We were in a really private corner of the resturaunt. Lana started crying so I fed her. Of course I had a blanket and everything but our waiter walked over at a really awkward moment and he basically ran away when he realized what was going on. poor guy.

Happy Happy birthday...I hope that you got my text at 6:30 AM!
Whew!!! You guys were crazy busy! It sounds like you had fun, though. Poor Lana...she probably felt so exposed eating her bottle with all of those people starting at her! hehe!
