June 4,2008 Wednesday

So, last night sucked. Lana wouldn't go to sleep. She wasn't screaming or anything...just fussy. It was really frustrating. I finally got her to go to sleep but I didn't dare put her down so I slept sitting with her on the couch. I really only got like 2 hours of sleep during the night. I don't understand how people have more than one child when they have a newborn. Obviously it is possible....but I can't currently imagine it. She also always wants to be held if she is awake. She'll do a little bit of tummy time or just laying on her back but not very long. I am even typing with one hand right now because she wants to be held all the time. I should give her some slack...she is only a month old. Anyone who has any advice I'm happy to hear it

She has baby acne. I can't wait for it to go away.

Yesterday was my 4th day of my exercise plan. I am so pumped to get back in shape. I had Dan put me on a very strict plan. This week I have to run 4 days. I run for 20 min and sprint for 2 each day (with absolutely no stopping!!!). Each week the running gets longer and so does the sprinting. After 4 weeks I get to buy a nice swimsuit (I have never had one the I have really liked or really fit very well ) and if by Jul 12 I am back to my pre-prego weight I get to buy a new pair of running shoes. The ones I have are 5 years old from Target. I think they cost about 14 dollars. Needless to say they are really crappy and ugly. After I reach that I think my ultimate weight goal will be 110 but that may be a bit lofty. We'll see when I get to 117. 6 lbs to go! haha I probably should diet along with this but I'm really bad at that so I'll just stick with the exercising.

I really, REALLY need more motivation to exercise! How do you do it?? I don't really like running by myself, so I can never get out and just do it. My husband works at a grocery store, so he's up on his feet all day getting exercise while I sit on my bum at a computer all day. It doesn't help much. Good luck with your goals! :)

That pic of lana is beautiful...I just might have to play with it on photoshop, I am always looking for cute baby pics to test out! O, and before I forget, I have recommendations for your running shoes. Asics gel keyano's are the best! Love ya...ps...I told you I was a blog stalker...you are making me so HAPPY!
