Dan got a road bike yesterday. I don't think I have ever seen him more excited about something. It was great. After he got off the phone with the guy he was buying it from he was glowing...in a ridiculous kind of way. We drove down to Tacoma to pick it up. He took it on its maiden voyage and I am not sure if I will ever see him again ;).

I have decided that bath time is the funnest time of the day! Lana is so content and happy when we are giving her a bath...and she looks so cute naked! We also love her little robe. Dan thinks she looks like and un-intimidating boxer.



She is also alot more smiley lately. Enough so that we are starting to catch them on camera. I am so excited for my trip to Wyoming and everyone else can see these smiles too!


Something really sad happened to me the other day. I think it was the most upset I have been in a long time. I was going out for a run. I only got about 100 feet when I saw two ducklings. They had gotten separated from their mom who was on the other side of the fence. She was over on the other side quacking at them, trying to figure out how to get to the other side...but she was too big to fit under. So, I tried to catch them to put them back on the other side. I caught one and gave it back to its mother. I was trying to catch the other and it was running away from me. It was more concerned with me than what was in front of him and he fell into a drain. I could see him down there peeping and swimming in the water. But there was no way to get him out. I cried for like 1/2 an hour and then cried myself to sleep that night. I just kept thinking about him being scared and confused. There is no way he got out so....he probably died. ahhh. ok I have to stop talking about this. I feel so bad because it was my fault he fell in. I went shopping to make myself feel better :)
