Doesn't she look like an angel!?

Saturday we went to Port Orchard just to check it out. It is is pretty small town on the west side of the Puget Sound. It is so beautiful. Washington still amazes me with how gorgeous it is! It's seems like I'm walking into a place that doesn't really exist.

We were super disappointed when we realized our camera was out of batteries. So, no pics from that excursion. We definitely had fun though. haha The first thing we did was go to a thrift store. I know....we are really cool. They had a ton of stuff out front they were giving away for free. Most of it was total junk but I did find one diamond in the rough.....All the pretty books you see below!! I was so excited. They are editions of Reader's Digest condensed books. They have books like The Pelican Brief, The Partner. ect..... Really great books. I won't lie though...the real reason I wanted them is just because they look good on my bookcase :)

We then walked by the waterfront for a while. Dan walked with Lana on his shoulders. I really wanted to capture that in a picture. :( I saw a seal!!! I have never seen one before. He was so cute.
Then we went to the quaint local diner and had breakfast for dinner. It was exactly as you would picture the local diner. Everyone in there knew EVERYONE.

I woke up Sunday feeling really sick. Sick enough that I would normally have stayed home from church but, now that I have Lana (she doesn't take a bottle) that would mean she would have to stay home with me and that seemed like alot more work than just going to church.

She looked so cute in her Sunday outfit!! Look at her shoes!

We had a little photo shoot because all the parts of this outfit was given as a gift. I am going to e-mail pics to the people who gave her the dress and shoes. The shoes are little ballet slippers!!

Look at those fat rolls!

Lady chekin' Lana out. She is so curious when Lana takes a bath.

Monday was kind of a crazy day for me. I still felt terrible and I had a bunch of things to do. The first thing on my agenda was to try, yet again, to get Lana to take a bottle. Now, if that's not an exhausting task I don't know what it is. It is basically her crying for an hour while I practically shove a bottle in her face. It is sad but necessary. I am starting to run dry despite my best efforts.....I know...TMI.
Then I had to go get the oil changed. (my least favorite task in the world.) Then I had to shop for dinner. After making dinner I had to clean our house because we had a guest coming for dinner. hmmm I bet everyone is skipping this paragraph because it is so boring.

Babies sleep anywhere!

I didn't skip a word! I promise. That first pic of lana could be in a magazine. You have to get it framed and keep it forever! I love her fat rolls!

Good luck with the bottle! I know how you feel - Hyrum never would take one & it was so frustrating! Have you tried an Adiri bottle? I've heard they work better than most & plan to try it with the next one. Good luck, & I love the pigtails!

I LOVE the photo of Lana peeking over the tub at Lady. That should be blown up and framed. Good work sister!
