Puyallup fair

Lana in her bumbo! She looks so cute sitting up without my hands holding her!! I have to wipe up alot of goo after she sits in it because she slobbers EVERYWHERE!

Isn't she so fat and cute!?

Sleeping on my bed! I was babysitting Maron (who you see below). Maron was sleeping in Lana's crib so Lana got to sleep here. lucky duck. That's gotta be something like a tripple king sized bed for her!

Maron and Lana. Maron is Heather's little girl. Heather is our apartment manager, in our ward, and I go running with her every other day.

We had a fun Saturday with Sam and Brent. We went to the Puyallup fair. Supposedly it is the biggest fair in the world! Sam was one of my roomates at BYU. She and her husband recently moved her. It is kinda funny that we are friends.....not that we weren't sorta friends when we lived together but we both gave eachother a fair amount of grief! I guess we have both gotten a bit more mature. :)
The first thing we did was go see Mutton Busting. For those of you who don't know what mutton busting is...heres a short definition.

Mutton Busting: A wonderful show at which parents enjoy putting thier small children on sheep to watch them fall off....hoping for a spactacular crash.

It was hilarious. Most of the kids didn't even stay on for a second but there were a couple who made it for a few. I spent half the time calming Lana down. She didn't seem to like all the noise...especially when I was the one making it.
Playing ski-ball. I won a small stuffed dog!! I have never won anything at a game before!
Dan was so excited to get a picture with the storm-troopers. He said our trip was complete becuase we got this picture.
We spent about 1/2 the time we were there watching this kitchen set demonstration. She fed us really good food. It might sound lame but I actually really enjoyed it! ...Made me want to buy the kitchen set she was selling...until I found out it was like $4,000! Actually, I knew the whole time it was going to be insanely expensive because she wouldn't tell us anything about the price until we had already been sitting there for 2 hours!

Dan was really dissapointed he was going to be missing the BYU vs. UCLA football game. Brent T-VOed (sp?) it and we went to their house after the fair to watch it. We also played Wi-sports! That was fun. I really liked the tennis game. We put Lana to sleep there and so we just spent the night.

On Monday while running with Heather we saw a girl get hit by a truck! The girl somehow was fine and rode away on her bike. I was really scared when I saw it happen. The driver said the most retarded thing. "I'll give you a dollar for the bus." HA! You just ran into the poor girl with your truck!

I got a great deal on a lot of girls clothes! As most of you know... I am a craigslist nut. I got a huge box of girls clothes for $30!! They are all nice, very clean, and of course cute! Dan and I are trying to get most of Lana's clothes this way to save money. Pretty much all the clothes you see on Lana are pre-loved! I was pretty proud of myself this particular time because, I am usually shy if I get to the persons house and realize they aren't really what I want. This time I told her right away I didn't really love about half of them (she really wanted to sell them all together). I was willing to buy about half of them for half price but I wasn't going to take all of them. I just hate being difficult but in the end it made me happy because I only got what I wanted.
